A conference on hyperbolicity :

Together with Erwan Rousseau we organise here in Strasbourg, from May 25, to May 29 2009, the conference "Algebraic varieties and hyperbolicity: geometric and arithmetic aspects".  



A workshop on foliations :

Together with Erwan Rousseau we organise here in Strasbourg, Friday May 22, 2009, the workshop "Journée Feuilletée", with two talks given by M. Toma, and two talks given by M. McQuillan.

Groupe de Travail 2009 : Birational geometry of foliations.

Starting from March 3, 2009, untill May, we will run a weekly "groupe de travail", meeting on tuesdays, on the birational classification of foliations on compact complex surfaces. You will find here the link to the webpage, containing dates, titles, speakers and (hopefully !) notes of the talks.


Teaching (2007-08):
       
A series of talks at the Dipartimento di Matematica "Guido Castelnuovo", Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza", on multiplier ideal sheaves and applications.

A mini-course on "Pluricanonical systems on projective varieties" at the Programa de Verão 2008 of the beautiful IMPA, Rio de Janeiro.

A graduate course at the Dipartimento di Matematica, Università degli Studi "Roma Tre", on the Boucksom-Demailly-Paun-Peternell characterization of uniruled varieties (via the differentiability of the volume function obtained by Boucksom-Favre-Jonsson).

Mathematical links :
During the academical year '05-'06, we have runned a weekly "groupe de travail" on pluricanonical maps of varieties of general type, after Hacon-McKernan, Takayama, Tsuji etc. Here are the notes  that Olivier Debarre has written on the subjet.
