Since 1991 Being expelled from the USSR as a religious and political dissident (October 4, 1978),
has been invited, after the fall of the communism and opening of Russia,
by the Russian Scientific and Financial Commissions of the Russian Parliament
to participate in the post-communist reconstruction, by establishing of
a permanent presence of C. N. R. S. in Russia (1993) which lead ultimately to
the creation of a permanent French-Russian Mathematical Institute in Moscow (2002)
