The Mathematical Legacy of Jean-Louis Loday / L’héritage mathématique de Jean-Louis Loday

IRMA, September 4-6, 2013

Jean-Louis Loday, directeur de recherche CNRS à l’IRMA, suddenly passed away on June 6, 2012. This conference, in his memory, aims to give a general picture of the mathematical research that he passed down to the mathematical community, including the study of the interplay between algebraic K-theory and cyclic homology, and the applications of the theory of algebraic operads.

Loday
  • Alain Connes (Collège de France) Cyclic homology, Serre’s local factors and the λ-operations
  • Pierre-Louis Curien (Université Paris 7) A rewriting tour in Zinbiel’s wonderland
  • Vladimir Dotsenko (Trinity College Dublin) Beyond quadratic operads
  • Alice Fialowski (Eötvös Loránd University) Leibniz algebras
  • Herbert Gangl (Durham University) On the homology of Voronoi complexes and algebraic K-groups of number rings
  • Grégory Ginot (Université Paris 6) Lambda operations in Hochschild (co)homology
  • Lars Hesselholt (Nagoya University) The K-theory assembly map
  • Mikhail Kapranov (Yale University) Cyclic 2-Segal spaces
  • Maria Ronco (Talca University) Algèbres de substitution
  • Christophe Soulé (IHES) Jean-Louis Loday et la K-théorie algébrique
